Based on a prophecy that New Years Day, 1977 would bring about the Judgement Day (when the two sevens clash), the song had such an effect that stores and school's around Jamaica closed on that day. One of the best written albums of the genre with the unbelievable lead vocals of Joseph Hill (RIP), this is a record that cemented Joe Gibbs as one of the greatest producers of the era.
