A fixture of the Copenhagen music scene and teacher at the now famous RMC music school, Anders Rhedin is a Danish producer, singer, and ambient composer. He says, “Indre Træk” could be translated into english as “inner current” but Træk can reference other natural phenomena like birds migrating south for winter, a draft, a breeze, or something pulling you.

It’s this inner-pull that also guides his creation of ambient music, sensing where to go next, differentiating this work from other more traditional forms of song-writing.

As a meditator, Rhedin’s compositions sit somewhere between ritual and resonance. Inspired by the contrasts between summer wind and snowy, Danish winter, Rhedin aspired to create a track that reflected “gentle movement carrying the listener from wakefulness toward the unseen tide beyond thought.”
