Captured Tracks welcomes HXXS
Captured Tracks are thrilled to welcome California’s HXXS to the label and release the band’s debut EP MKDRONE on December 7 on cassette, vinyl and digitally. When prescription medication became the only reprieve for an inoperable tooth infection that had one member sliding between unbearable pain and prescription-induced euphoria, the first single “Seppuku,” the historical Japanese term for suicide by disembowelment, came to fruition.
HXXS are the duo of Jeannie Colleene and Gavin Neves. They have confirmed a tour of the US that kicks off in Kansas City on November 6, stopping in New York City on November 11 to join label mates Wax Chattels and Drahla for a show at Baby’s All Right to celebrate Captured Tracks’ 10th Anniversary.
