Molly Burch Announces The Molly Burch Christmas Album!

Austin chanteuse Molly Burch – whose voice has been called called “unforgettable” by GQ, “one of rock’s best voices” by the FADER, and “vibrant and warm” by Pitchfork – has announced The Molly Burch Christmas Album, coming November 15th!

The collection includes classics like “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” and “Auld Lang Syne” alongside heartland hits like “Hard Candy Christmas” (Dolly Parton) and “Snowqueen of Texas” (The Mamas & The Papas) as well as a pair of originals penned by Burch. On the playful, joyous cover of Wham!’s “Last Christmas”, Burch is joined by two special guests: actors / comedians John Early (Search Party, Wet Hot American Summer) and Kate Berlant (Sorry to Bother You, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood) who add a blithe intro and backing vocals throughout. Creating a holiday album was a foregone conclusion for the singer who would perform in college, alongside an early iteration of her band, as the Lonely Christmas Band at her legendary annual Christmas party. The album was recorded by Will Patterson (Sleep Good, RF Shannon, Jesse Woods) and Jarvis Taveniere (Woods, Martin Courtney, Purple Mountains) in Austin, TX and Los Angeles, CA.

Burch will bring holiday cheer to NYC, LA and Austin for three special special holiday performances this December. She will be joined by special guests, to be announced soon. The shows are on-sale Friday, October 11 at 10 AM local time here:

Molly has partnered with PLUS1 so that $1 from every ticket will go to organizations bringing dignity, equity, and access to communities who need it.

Holiday Tour Dates:
