Part Time Digital Coordinator

We currently have an opening for a new passionate Part-Time Digital Coordinator to work either from our Brooklyn office one day per week or remotely if not in New York, with potential additional hours if working at events/shows.

If you follow any of our labels on social media (Captured Tracks, Sinderlyn, 2MR) you will see our current Digital Coordinators in our content. They are tasked with devising, editing, and featuring in our public-facing social media content with guidance and involvement from our digital team. 

The right candidate is someone with a desire to learn about and enter the music industry with a focus on digital marketing, to assist the Community Manager within the label group’s digital department. The placement is one day a week, preferably on Thursdays, for an initial period of six months that can be extended.

The application process for this role will begin with a 30s-1 minute vertical video about yourself, your interests, experience, and goals, alongside a traditional resume.

Responsibilities 

Perform ad-hoc tasks as delegated by the label group’s Community Manager

Create content and assets for social media, including vinyl unboxing videos, music video clips, music recommendation videos, and more

Monitor and research social media trends and influencers

Required Skills

Comfortable on camera, speaking to the camera and others for content creation purposes

Basic video and image editing skills

Good communication and organization skills

An enthusiastic collaborator who works well with team members

Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work

Proficiency in email communication and inbox management, keeping track of incoming requests and tasks

Understanding of independent music culture 

Desire to grow and develop within the music industry

Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing deadlines

Preferred Skills

Proficiency in Adobe Suite or other video and image editing software

Proficiency in Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc)

A passion for our labels’ rosters and similar genres.

This is an entry-level part-time role, with an hourly rate of $17, 8 hours per week, with potential additional hours if attending and working at events/shows. If working from the office, prospective candidates should be fully vaccinated and may be asked to provide proof of vaccination.
