girlpuppy shares the following about the song:

“I wrote this song very early into my breakup when I was grieving “every single day” (ha!). The demo to this song is very different than what Alex created with me but I love it so much more because it brought attitude to the song instead of just sad lyrics and sad chords.”

girlpuppy’s new album ‘Sweetness’ is out March 28th and is her most expansive work yet, blending her soft, mesmerizing vocals with dynamic, rock-inspired instrumentals.

The album reflects a striking duality: its title, drawn from a personal nickname, embodies a gentle warmth, while the songs themselves delve into the bittersweet and complex realities of heartbreak. Collaborating with producer Alex Farrar and co-writers Tom Sinclair and Holden Fincher, Harvey fuses shoegaze, dream-pop, and early 2000s pop-rock, featuring contributions from members of Horse Jumper of Love, The War on Drugs, and Beach Fossils.
